Frederik graduated with a masters degree in illustration from Sint Lukas Brussels in 2009. He was an intern at the advertising bureau LG&F (now called Famous) and with cartoonist Quirit. His book 'Ik Zien A Geire', an illustrated story about the city of Antwerp, got published by Mekanik Strip in 2010. The next year he won the Plastieken Plunk Award for best short story in Dutch for 'De Preminiemen' and got selected for the Brussels in Shorts graphic novel project (coming late 2012). Currently he's working as a cartoonist for De Standaard alongside of other freelance assignments.
